Olivet Community Schools Raises $7,147 for                 2008 United Way

This year was a record year of giving from the Olivet Community Schools staff.  This year there was a competition between buildings, K-3, 4-8, 9-12 and the remaining support staff who generously gave a total of $7,147 to this year’s campaign which included 56% participation. The Olivet High School staff was the winning team with 100% participation this year! The staff was treated to a catered lunch provided by Turkeyville thanks to Loretta Williams from the Eaton County United Way Office. The inspirational stories of help and assistance in our community coupled with the flexible ways of contributing were key points in the success of this year’s campaign.  It is a heartwarming feeling that so many families in the Olivet community will be helped with funds given by the Olivet Schools staff.
