To:  Jr. high school students attending the State FFA Convention & Parents

From: Doug Pennington

I am excited that your son/daughter will be attending the state convention.  We will be attending the State FFA Convention on March 10-11.  I am allowing students to attend this event as they have worked real hard and are very interested in doing good things in FFA.

On Wednesday, March 10, we will be leaving at 7:40 a.m. from the high school.  Wednesday morning will involve watching contests.  On Wednesday afternoon we will be attending leadership workshops, a convention session and registering for the convention.   Wednesday evening, we will be attending the second convention session and after the session attend the dance.  On Thursday (bright and early) we will be attending leadership contests.  On Thursday afternoon, we will be attending another convention session to watch motivational speakers. The students will be leaving at 1:40 p.m. from MSU and will return at about 2:30.

They only need money for meals, about $25-$30 for spending money (we will be going to the mall Wednesday night).  I would like the money they owe for the trip by Monday, March 9 (if this is a problem please call).  It will cost you $45 (unless the students have $ in their $ bank).
