District Strategic Plan 2007
Olivet Community Schools District Mission
"Olivet Community Schools is committed to providing a caring and academically challenging environment that develops responsible citizens prepared to meet the changing demands of our society."
We are very proud of our school district's new Strategic Plan, which the Board of Education approved at the May 14, 2007 Board meeting. The plan was developed during 14 meetings over seven months this school year by a committee of students, parents, teachers, administrators, and board members. The 30+ members of the committee devoted many hours to brain storming, studying, and wording the statements carefully to communicate the very important thoughts included in the plan. The Strategic Plan does a great job defining our district and what we stand for. It also builds a vision for what we are going to become for our students. The goals we have set for ourselves are lofty and set a very positive direction for the future of our school district. Please take the time to read over the plan and share it with others who may be interested.
I would like to offer my sincerest appreciation to all the members of the committee who worked so hard to create this outstanding document, which will guide our school district's future for years to come. If you have any questions about the Strategic Plan, please feel free to call Brooke Judd, Superintendent, at
