Academic Interventions

TITLE I: K-5 READING AND MATH SUPPORT

Title I is Federal funding used to offer support services to students who need extra time and instruction to master grade level curriculum. FPE and OMS both receive Title I funding.

A parent letter will be sent home if your child is identified as eligible for support services funded through Title I. Title I services may be short term or long term depending on the needs of each individual student. We are pleased to offer these services to help ALL of our students be successful!

TITLE I PROGRESS REPORT DATES 2017-2018

Teachers will be using both reading and math assessments to determine both growth and next steps for all students and monitoring frequently throughout the school year. Communication to parents will come in the form of a combination of progress reports and report cards. If your child’s teacher/interventionist determines that a student is no longer in need of academic interventions, you will receive a letter with your child’s progress and notification that services are no longer needed.
