Student Illness

In an effort to help keep everyone healthy and stop the spread of illnesses, we ask that you continue to screen your child for illness before leaving for school.  Children should stay home if they are experiencing:

  • Fever of 100 or above, or signs of fever (chills/sweating)

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain

  • Sore throat

  • New cough

  • New severe headache

  • Difficulty breathing

Remember: Students must be fever free and no incidents of vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school.

Please contact your child’s school within one hour after school has begun at the latest to report your child’s absence.  If your child is ill, please report what symptoms they are experiencing.
