We have recently been made aware of a situation where an individual is contacting local businesses and community members, falsely claiming to represent Olivet Community Schools and requesting donations. These requests typically insist on payment via credit card.
Throughout the school year, you may encounter individual students seeking support for their sports teams or activities as part of their fundraising efforts. These requests are likely to come from students with whom you have an existing relationship or connection and are genuine.
It's important to note that Olivet Community Schools is NOT actively seeking donations from the community, nor have we authorized anyone to solicit donations on our behalf. Therefore, we urge you not to disclose your credit card information to anyone over the phone claiming to represent Olivet Community Schools.
