Looks like the rain will hold off this morning for the Fun-Run-A-Thon. The grass may be damp, so we encourage students to bring an extra pair of shoes. 5th grade will be at the high school track from 9-10am. 4th grade will be at the track from 10-11am. Families are welcome to cheer on from the stands!

It has been a fun week celebrating Fall Homecoming. Here is a look at some of the camouflaged students from Wednesday. Reminder that the parade is Friday @ 5:30 pm. The football game kicks off at 7:00 pm. Come join us!

4th/5th grade families, I am excited to announce that we have a new school resource officer (SRO), name Officer Hernandez. If you happen to see him at any of our OCS campuses, please give him a warm welcome. He is assigned to our district for daily duties.

We are so grateful to have Mrs. Lincoln at OMS! She has made it her mission to provide the 4th/5th grade students with an amazing environment and experience each time they visit our library. They may be in the middle school, but they are still elementary students.

Good Morning OCS Families. The Transportation Dept. is short one driver today. The "Green" bus route will be picking up students, but approx. 45 minutes later than the normal pick up time for both the elementary and secondary students. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Here are this week's S.O.A.R. winners for 4th/5th grade. This week focused on "safety." Next week's focus will be "on-task." Our students are doing a great job adjusting to the new school year expectations. Teachers have been building connections with ALL our students

I want to take a moment to acknowledge our outstanding 4th/5th grade teaching staff. They have done an amazing job so far collaborating and problem-solving to meet the needs of ALL our students. Students are making great progress with learning the new routines and expectations.
