OHS students from Mr. London’s Economics class made their second stop as part of the Capital Area Manufacturing Council’s annual Manufacturing Day with a visit to Dowding Industries!

Their first stop of the day was Sinto in Grand Ledge, where students had the opportunity to get hands-on and experience welding firsthand. What a great way to explore careers in manufacturing and see classroom learning come to life within our local economy!

Olivet Community Schools students can stop into the Charlotte Community Library to obtain their library card and take advantage of all the books, resources, and opportunities the library has to offer. Students will need to show their OCS Student ID or provide their student ID number (this can be found in Skyward if needed).
We’re so appreciative of our partnership with the Charlotte Community Library and the opportunity to connect our students with even more ways to read, learn, explore, and grow. 📖✨

Mrs.Hayward's 1st grade class made applesauce on Tuesday. It was so yummy! Thanks to Mrs. Reynolds for coming in to help!
OMS 6-8 graders worked hard in September to achieve goals set forth by their teachers. On Wednesday, 9/30, 7th graders who met their monthly goal were rewarded with some time during Wednesday's half day to choose an activity they enjoyed. We are proud of the way OMS students are learning that setting a goal, putting in the effort, and staying committed can lead to success!
OMS 6-8 Students had an eventful homecoming week that ended with a Pep Assembly led by our student council.
